About CaseStatusAPI
Our Story
CaseStatusAPI was born from personal experience. As immigration applicants ourselves, we spent countless hours refreshing the USCIS case tracker only to see the same generic "Case Was Received" status for months on end. We knew the system had to contain more data — and we were right.
After discovering that the internal USCIS API endpoints contain significantly more detailed processing information than the public website shows, we realized there was no easy way for non-technical applicants to access this data. Most people don't know how to open browser developer tools, inspect network requests, or interpret raw JSON responses.
So we built CaseStatusAPI — a simple, secure tool that bridges the gap between the raw internal USCIS data and plain-English understanding. No developer tools required. No guesswork. Just paste your data (or use our Chrome Extension for one-click auto-fetch) and get an AI-powered analysis of what's actually happening behind the scenes with your case.
Our Mission
We believe every immigration applicant deserves transparency into their own case data. The USCIS public case tracker often shows outdated or overly simplified status messages, leaving applicants anxious and uncertain about their future.
Our mission is to empower applicants with the same level of detail that USCIS officers can see — internal processing milestones, service center assignments, document histories, and event timelines — all interpreted into language that anyone can understand.
We are committed to building tools that are secure, transparent, and genuinely helpful. We do not store your case data. We do not ask for your USCIS login credentials. Everything runs through your own browser session, and our AI analysis is generated in real-time and then discarded.
What Makes CaseStatusAPI Different
- Internal API Data: Unlike basic case trackers that only show public status messages, we help you access the internal USCIS API endpoints that contain hidden processing details for IOE (ELIS) cases.
- AI-Powered Analysis: Raw JSON data is meaningless to most people. Our AI interprets internal status codes, event histories, and technical flags into a personalized, plain-English case narrative.
- One-Click Chrome Extension: We built a free Chrome Extension that auto-fetches data from 4 USCIS internal API endpoints and fills it directly into our analyzer — no manual copy-paste or tab-switching required.
- Community-Driven Timelines: Our case timeline database lets you compare your processing timeline against thousands of other real cases, so you know if your wait time is normal or if something may need attention.
- Educational Guides: We publish in-depth guides on USCIS processes — from understanding IOE receipt numbers to navigating RFE responses — all written with the applicant's perspective in mind.
Technology & Security
CaseStatusAPI is built with modern web technologies including Next.js, TypeScript, and secure cloud infrastructure. Our AI analysis is powered by OpenAI's GPT-4 models, fine-tuned with specialized prompts for immigration case data interpretation.
Your privacy is our top priority. We never store your case data on our servers. The tool functions as a "viewer" for your own USCIS session data — it reads the information you paste in, sends it to our AI for analysis, and returns the result. No logs, no databases, no retention.
For subscription and account management, we use Stripe for secure payment processing and Supabase for authentication. We never see or store your credit card details. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
