We built CaseStatusAPI while waiting on our own cases.
Like you, we refreshed the USCIS case tracker for months and saw the same line: "Case Was Received." Then we noticed that the myUSCIS website loads far more than it shows you: every internal step, the office handling the case, and quiet updates in the background.
Reading it meant opening developer tools and decoding raw data. Most people can't do that, and they shouldn't have to. So we built a tool that does it for you, in plain English, without ever touching your password.

What we believe
You should be able to read your own case. Everything we show comes from the data in your own myUSCIS account, and when we find a USCIS code we haven't explained yet, we add it to our code guide.
How we protect you
You sign in on the official USCIS site, never here, and we never see your password. We keep no names, addresses or A-Numbers. Community data is de-identified, and you can turn it off anytime. Our privacy policy has the details.
